Uncle Daddo's Chilli Beef Cheeseburgers
ok, this one strictly for the love of it
Ingredients:
400-500g beef mince - don't use the super nice prime stuff, it has less fat. You need the fat. We need the fat.
2 cloves garlic - finely sliced or ground - u choose
1/2 tsp of ground cumin
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1-2 tbsp chipotle sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce if you have it
Combine all burger ingredients in a bowl. Mix with your hands evenly to produce 4 patties (or 3 if you feeling beefy)
Press the patties to around 10-12cm in diameter and around 1.5-2cm thick.
Fry those suckas. You can tell when they need to be flipped cause you see burger juice beads appear on the top surface.
Flip em and put a slice of cheese on top.
